Call for Applications: Growth Manager

The African Centre for Tax and Governance (ACTG) is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and results-driven Growth Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our impact across Africa. As a key member of the ACTG leadership team, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster partnerships, and implement sustainable growth strategies to strengthen the organization’s position as a tax policy think tank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the creation and execution of growth strategies that align with ACTG’s mission and goals. Identify opportunities for expansion, new projects, and funding sources.
  • Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with governments, non-profits, international organizations, and private sector partners to scale ACTG’s initiatives.
  • Program & Project Development: Collaborate with internal teams to design and launch high-impact programs that promote good governance, tax reforms, and policy innovation in Africa.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Implement systems to measure and report on the success of growth strategies and partnerships. Adjust approaches as necessary to maximize results.
  • Resource Mobilization: Identify and secure new funding opportunities through partnerships, grants, and donors to support ACTG’s growth trajectory.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of professionals dedicated to growth, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with ACTG’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in growth management, strategy, business development, or related fields, preferably in the non-profit, governance, or public policy sectors.
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in business administration, public policy, international relations, or a related field.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Extensive experience building strategic relationships across sectors, particularly in Africa.
    Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify trends, analyze data, and develop strategies that drive organizational growth.
    Passion for Governance & Development: A deep understanding of tax governance, public policy, and governance issues in Africa, with a passion for driving positive change.
